MANILA, Philippines - The Department of Justice (DOJ) yesterday rejected an offer of suspended Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (ARMM) governor Zaldy Ampatuan to become a state witness in connection with the Maguindanao massacre.
Justice Secretary Leila de Lima said Ampatuan, among those principally accused in the multiple murder case, lacks the qualification to become state witness.

STOCKHOLM, Sweden - Women trying to conceive are better served by a urine test to determine if they are ovulating than the more commonly used calendar method, the makers of the test said at a Stockholm conference Tuesday.

Dubbed as “Partnership for Children’s Futures,” LV, through its intellectual property department, is donating $500,000 t... |

Five years ago, Zapote River in Las Piñas City mirrored how Rio Grande de Mindanao River looks today, with water lilies blocking the flow of the water, resulting in rising flood waters.
But city folk have since discovered the many products one can make out of water lily with little or no capital needed.
